Removing deteriorating second-growth cedar shakes from 1980s/90s homes, installing solid plywood decking, and installing fire-resistant laminate or standing seam metal.
Algae-Resistant Laminates
Installing premium architectural shingles (such as Malarkey Highlander and IKO Cambridge) formulated specifically to inhibit unsightly moss and algae growth.

Damaged plywood is replaced. High-temp self-adhering ice & water shield is installed at vulnerable eaves, valleys, and skylights.

4. Precision Fastening & Masonry Flashing
Shingles are nailed according to manufacturer wind specifications, and all chimney flashing is properly repointed into mortar.
